Location:  Omaha

ReTensioning™ is a new approach to improve human movement and function by applying engineering principles and sensory reeducation. ReTensioning™ allows a person to experience what the appropriate relationships for the bones in each joint are and actively retrains the client in how to return that joint to a true neutral relationship when it is at rest. ReTensioning™  training on the body allows active movement to start from the best mechanical advantage prior to the generation of muscular forces.

ReTensioning™ uses proven manual techniques, an intelligent assessment strategy and a holistic biomechanical analysis to enable practitioners to provide an extremely rational and effective approach to movement dysfunctions. The techniques are gentle and involve the client and practitioner actively partnering to eliminate maladaptive movement patterns and restore better tensional balance throughout the client. Specific techniques based on the unique anatomic design of each joint have been developed including those of the spine, feet and hands.

Clients report rapid and significant improvements in ranges of motion, greater ease in activities and significantly less tension throughout their body after treatment. Practitioners find that they have a new tool that utilizes their knowledge of anatomy, physics and physiology to address chronic imbalances and strains throughout the body. Bottom line, ReTensioning™ is a powerful means to quickly improve a client’s ability to move, think, and rest.
